I am such a sucker for rockstar romances so when I saw FOUNDED ON GOODBYE on TikTok I HAD to read it, and it did not disappoint.I’m becoming a reader that thrives on dual POV and the amount of times we got to see into Nash’s head in this story was amazing. I love a complex realistic character and he’s exactly that! Nora’s story was so much deeper than readers would initially guess and I enjoyed getting to know her. She was a strong woman that tried to run from her problems and learned upon getting the job as a dancer on this tour, that you truly can’t outrun your problems. You have to face them or they can eat you alive. I loved seeing Nash and Nora fall for one another and see the challenges they faced. Even the challenges seemed realistic for the situation they were in! Kat Singleton has such a great way of capturing the readers attention and holding it throughout. She has a new found reader in me!I also loved the supporting characters; Riley, Ziggy, Sebastian, etc. I hope there are more books to come regarding those characters and their love lives! 5 stars!“I’m going to make you feel again, Nash Pierce. I’m going to make you feel it all.”Oh. My. God. FOG is easily one of my favorite stories of 2021 and Kat has become one of my favorite authors. I started this book for a casual read and realized very soon that I could not put it down. I was completely intrapped with the lives of Nash and Nora and their love story. If I had the time, I’d be rereading this over and over again.I loved how we see such a natural evolution with these two. Nash is easily closed off with others. He’s more or less like an actual popstar, but still having all the sex apeal. The media portrays him one way when he’s actually just the complete opposite; he’s broken, trying to find his love for music again, and struggles on the daily. Nora is a girl who is trying to live out a dream come true and stuck with decisions that will break hearts no matter what she chooses. The bicker and banter between these two, the friendship and bond they form, and the love that develops out of it was so freaking special. You really, truly see two people fall for one another. I loved the fact this was in dual POV, because we got to be able to be in both their heads and understand what they are feeling.FOG is a slow burn but with allll the right amount of chemistry and tension. I loved all the little moments they had together. It made the build up to the conflict all the more nerve wracking. Secrets and lies were formed, betrayal running deep between our dancer and our rockstar. My heart was breaking as it was all unfolding. Kat was able to write these characters' emotions in a way that we could feel them too. I loved how Nash upheld that douche persona, but for Nora… Where can I find a Nash? And I loved how strong of a person Nora is, despite what happened in her past.If you want all the angst, all the feels and emotions from a burning chemistry, the love that two people possess that's like a rain show, then READ THIS NOW!
